It works perfectly well. In 30 years I have not done a hot wash. Think how much hot water that would have been! Flavia tells me that I misunderstood what she said about lists and Brazilians do not use lists of six favourite things. So that leaves two to add: Festas Juninas. These are neighbourhood parties in June celebrating various saints' days. They are similar to the smaller Ferias in Spain but much quieter and less commercial. Big rooms with high ceilings. With lower land and building costs Brazilians have not yet started reducing the size of new dwellings. Smartass :) I had a bet that nobody would notice.
